On September 2, Paris Saint-Germain coach Enrique attended the pre-match press conference against Lyon in the fourth round of Ligue 1. He talked about new aid this summer, the Champions League draw to the death group, preparations for the match against Lyon and other issues.

About this year’s summer window:

I would like to thank Chairman Nasser and Director Campos for their wonderful signings this summer. The players we have signed are very suitable for the team to win games. The question now is for these new signings to prove that they are worthy of playing for Paris Saint-Germain. Obviously, I am very satisfied with the signings of this summer window, there is no better transfer window than this one. All my requests were met. Every position has been reinforced and it is now up to the players and staff to repay the club’s trust. This transfer window was a success, it was my first transfer window at PSG, it was obvious. Compared with buyers and sellers. More importantly we built a project about the future.

About the introduction of French international Mouani:

He is a player who can play in every position in the frontcourt. I love thinking about a player with his versatility. He is an excellent reinforcement for us, and he is French and Parisian. I’m happy, it increases the competition within our team.

About the group of death in the Champions League group stage draw:

Without a doubt, we are in the toughest Champions League group and it will be very demanding. But the teams drawn with Paris Saint-Germain should be afraid, they were unlucky to meet us.

About the game against Lyon:

The opponent is very strong, with many good players. We don’t know now how they will defend and press us. It will be a really good game for us to show how we play.
We are preparing for this game, just like all other games. Lyon are a great team with a great history. They have a lot of good players and a very good coach. I played with Blanco at Barcelona and I know him well. It’s going to be a tough game in a great stadium. It’s sure to be difficult. But we are ready to take the three points in the same way.
