Disaster, Poor Food, and Thoughts – Pep Guardiola Faces a Critical Situation Before the Manchester Derby

For the first time in years, City is playing the Manchester derby while being in even more turmoil than Manchester United.

City has been struggling, with only one win recorded in the last 10 matches across all competitions.

The defeat against Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday marked the seventh loss for City in their last 10 games.

A surprising collapse has hit the team that won six of the last seven Premier League titles, including four in a row.

United is currently in a very poor form, having won only three out of the six matches since Amorim took over from Erik ten Hag, who was sacked.

Amorim had already dealt Guardiola a painful blow earlier this season when his team Sporting defeated City 4-1 in a Champions League match that took place in Lisbon on November 5th.

That humiliating defeat came just days before Amorim officially took the job at Old Trafford, and Guardiola would love to take revenge at Etihad Stadium this week.

If there is a team that has suffered injuries, it is City; if there is an individual who has lost confidence, it is Guardiola. The Derby match tomorrow night has left Pep sleepless and deep in thought.

However, unlike Guardiola, Amorim is smiling, even though he himself is not without problems. The difference between the two coaches is significant.

In an interview, Guardiola stated that his mental state is very poor, his sleep is bad, and he hasn’t been eating much since his metabolism has been affected by the collapse of City.

Guardiola, who recently signed a new two-year contract, insisted that he hopes for significant changes at Man City, which is currently in a bad situation.
