Enzo Maresca Makes a Big Commitment to His Team Chelsea.

The manager of Chelsea, Enzo Maresca, stated that in five to ten years, his side will prove to be one of the most powerful Premier League teams, although he admitted that they have no chance in the title race this season.

He has ruled out the prospect of Chelsea mounting a challenge against Arsenal, Manchester City, or Liverpool this season, insisting that the team he is building will contend for the title in the future.

“When I first had a meeting with the owners and the sporting directors, I told them due to the age and quality of the squad, Chelsea will be one of the strongest teams in Europe in the next five to ten years,” Maresca said.

“I told them that it does not depend on who the coach will be; in the next five or ten years, Chelsea will be strong, considering the age and quality of the team,” he continued.
