I Am Bringing His Replacement” this was the talk of Pep Guardiola concerning Kyle Walker’s fate.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is not worried about the prospects of Kyle Walker leaving the Etihad.
Guardiola said that Walker wants to leave the Etihad dressing room after a stunning 8-0 victory over Salford at the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The 34-year-old defender has been linked with clubs in Italy and Saudi Arabia.
Walker is set to leave City sometime this month, with strong favorites for his signing being AC Milan.
However, Guardiola hopes to tag Walker along for the midweek Premier League match against Brentford.
Guardiola said he is not worried about the departure of the England defender. “I am quite an intelligent person I am a coach with the right talent for finding solutions. I am quite unconcerned; Kyle is our player for the time being and that’s about it. The opportunity is there – I do not have any news.
“More than that, I have nothing to say – it’s about Brentford,” remarked Guardiola.
