“I Will Not Trust Barcelona” – Raphinha Sends a Strong Warning to Barcelona Owners.
Barcelona winger Raphinha issued a direct warning to the club, suggesting that players may think twice about agreeing to join it because of the registration woes surrounding Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.
The players have not been registered for the latter half of LaLiga this season due to the financial plight that had engulfed the club.
Raphinha cautioned that the future transfer market of the club would also be affected due to the present situation. To a query as to whether the situation could affect the new signings of the club, he replied: “Yes, it could affect the matter for the club; I cannot say otherwise.”
“If I were a player belonging to any of the final team confronting the unfolding situations, I might have asked, ‘Is this the best option for me to pursue?'”
Rapha continued to reveal his motivation for joining Barca:
“When I signed for Barca, I was aware of how things were at the club. I thought there was an opportunity to join in on this project, and I was not about to wait until the last minute. I have never regretted my choice.”
Barcelona acquired Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig only six months ago for a transfer fee of £50 million. But presently, they can not register either Olmo or Pau Victor.
Barca plan to lodge an official customer petition to the Spanish government against LaLiga and RFEF for the continual turning down of the registration for these players.
