As the clock struck midnight, expectant mothers at Pumwani Maternity Hospital shed tears of joy s they delivered Christmas babies.. At least 11 births, eight normal births and three via cesarian, were delivered at the health facility between 12am and 7am on Sunday, December 25. Among them was Catherine Wandera led the list of Christmas babies as she welcomed her first child while Mildred Odhiammbo welcomed her firstborn son after midnight.
