As teachers we have received the news of your appointment with joy. We look forward to working diligently with you. Our work is to bring forth a new generation and it is our hope that you'll help us in this endeavor and not look for missing flaws just to antagonize us.
I know in your road to academic progress, a teacher played a huge part. Please, re look at this animal called Teachers Performance Appraisal Document (TPAD.) With due respect allow me be open with you, this tool is meant for pure PR. It doesn't add much value to the teaching. In fact, it has given teachers lots of paperwork thus wasting valuable time that can be used in lesson preparation and actual teaching. Free advice, do away with it as early as yesterday.
Dear sir
Secondly Bwana CEO, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) no longer stands for that name, as teachers we refer to TSC as Teachers Suffering Centre. This is because anytime we come to the house on 'the hill' to have our problems sorted, we leave with more problems than we came with. We are mishandled from the inquiries to the offices up floor. At times we part with what I don't want to mention before service is given to us.
Without being much of a bother, recheck hardship areas. There are many areas that were left and teachers in these areas suffer a lot. Some are impassable, some inhabitable due to either extremes in temperatures. Hardship areas should be extended.
I know you'll get to know more challenges affecting teachers. With optimism, we know you will be good to us, rebuke us where we go wrong, but give us our due when we deserve.
Your Faithfully
