Psychologists say stress is one of the drivers of life. For optimum functioning of an individual, moderate level of stress is required.High level of stress is unhealthy to an individual. Some of the ways of stress management include:
Develop a positive self talk habit. The way you talk to yourself matters. Harsh self-criticism ,self doubt and catastrophic predictions aren't helpful.
Meditate;meditation brings short-term stress relief as well as lasting stress management benefits.
Don't rely on alcohol ,drugs or compulsive behaviours.
Get enough rest and sleep
Eat healthy ,well balanced meals.
Exercise regularly
Accept that there are events that you cannot control.
