Covid 19:Should we go the Madagascar way or the US way?

Following the recent developments on the prevention and cure for Covid 19, a number countries through their scientists and philanthropists have been working sleeplessly competing each other on who will first come up with cure or vaccine to combat the deadly disease.
However,the recent developments shows that Madagascar and US have successfully got it.
Contrary to everyone's expectations,the WHO have had a little say and haven't even paid any attention towards Madagascar's discovery while the US's is getting approval from the same body.
The Big question is: Who is cheating who? or should we go continental way?
