Soccer legend Pele is now more. The three-time FIFA World Cup winner died at the age of 82 in Brazil. He was admitted to the Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital in Sao Paulo for around a month due to cancer. However, he lost the batter with cancer having been suffering since September 2021. The news of his passing shook the entire world as tributes poured in.
Pele spent his entire club career playing for Santos in Brazil and New York Cosmos in the United States. He made more than 90 appearances for his national team, scoring 77 goals in the process. Pele also helped Brazil win three World Cups. He broke into the scene as a superstar when he scored a brace in the FIFA World Cup final at the age of 17.
