The Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists Dentists Union (KMPDU) says it is yet to engage with the government over the implementation of the 2017-2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).KMPDU had issued a 30-day strike notice demanding the implementation of the aforementioned CBA in totality. In a move seemingly aimed at averting the looming industrial action, the government, through the Ministry of Labour, appointed Chief Industrial Relations Officer Kisurulia Kuloba to act as the conciliator in the dispute.
