For most people , the reason they don't win financially is because the pain of losing money is far greater then the joy of being rich . Failure inspires winners . Failure defeats losers . As an investor yes you the first question you need to ask yourself is " How fast do I get my money back ? " It us not being selfish or being a materialist but it is just that some people say , " oh , im not interested in money " yet they'll work at a job for eight hours a day . Rich people in life acquire assets . The poor and middle class acquire liabilities that they think are assets . An asset puts money in my pocket . A liability takes money out of my pocket .
