Baite TV, a television broadcast owned by the Meru Women Representative Kawira Mwangaza has hit headlines over the past 2 weeks after allegations of closure. Its closure comes forth after the Meru County Governor recommended for its closure saying that the station is airing content meant to defame him and kill his political ambitions. He reiterates that for the longest time now the station has been focusing only Kiraitu's negative side and his faults forgetting about the projects he's been doing for the Meru people. "Even the bible says that you forgive someone many times, i'm also a human being. I will not allow Baite TV to keep bashing me morning, noon and evening. Was Baite TV established to fight me? " Kiraitu said in a previous press briefing.
