The 33-year-old was arrested in Nairobi’s Makongeni on the evening of December 11 after being provoked by detectives.

The suspect was identified through CCTV cameras on Dec. 9, but it took 48 hours of coordination from multiple security agencies to apprehend him.

Investigators have stated in a statement that the suspect has previously been involved in criminal activities.
