- President William Ruto launched the KSh 50 billion credit facility on November 20, setting the repayment period at two weeks (14 days)
- Cooperatives CS Simon Chelugui said the highest loan issued was KSh 5,000 but said borrowers with a good credit score can increase the amount gradually to KSh 500,000
- He said 16,591,441 customers had opted in while KSh 479,032,238 had been saved so far with the second phase set to be launched in February 2023
