Makueni invites bids for sand harvesting

Sand prices I Nairobi could soon ease after the makueni county government floated bids allowing dealers access to the commodity at mutiswa river. The county said individual dealers , companies and self help groups should file applications by May 27th. They quoted that the sand should be harvested to avoid flooding due to excess sand deposits. They must deposit ksh 100,000 as surety.
