Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya on Monday promised to prioritise enhancement of Early Child Development Education.

He said this will be done by absorbing all 800 ECDE Care givers into permanent and pensionable terms of service.

The governor spoke as he presided over Jamhuri Day celebrations held  at Amani Primary School in Chepchoina ward in Endebes sub county.

"There is need for improvement of infrastructural development in our schools besides my government striving to go to an extra mile in increasing capitation and manpower to improve the quality of learning for our children," Natembeya said.
