Monday was a great day for president William Ruto and former president Uhuru Kenyatta as they got to meet for the first time ever since the swearing in at Kasarani stadium. The two have never had an eye for each other ever since their relationship collapsed and they rarely meet.
he two met at a conference in Nairobi to discuss about the peace situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo where Kenya is among the top stakeholders. We recently sent our soldiers to help in maintaining peace by protecting the people from the terrorists. The meeting held in Nairobi was attended by various leaders of the East African Community and the African Union.
As Ruto and Uhuru sat in the conference room they had a small chat. Ruto referred to Uhuru as Mr president and the two could not stop laughing.
Ruto: Mr President how are you?
Uhuru: Salama kabisa.
Ruto: Mr president how have you been?
Uhuru: Good my friend.
Ruto: Nimekuona Goma (both laugh).
