  3. Obtain liability insurance: You must obtain liability insurance for your drone in order to operate it in Kenya. The minimum required coverage is KES 10,000,000 (approximately $100,000) for third-party liability.
  4. Comply with operational requirements: You must comply with operational requirements set by the KCAA in order to operate your drone in Kenya. These requirements include maintaining a visual line of sight with your drone at all times, flying below 400 feet, and obtaining permission from the KCAA before flying in certain areas.
