River Nzoia bursts its banks leaving many homeless.

Arising from the rain pounding most parts of the country, river Nzoia has broken its banks causing floods which have affected many homes along it mostly in Mumias west sub county, where the affected families have been forced to look for shelter in nearby primary schools namely shibale and ebubaka among others. The said flooding has affected the bridge between shibale and mayoni along Mumias Bungoma road forcing one lane to be closed for traffic use due to fear of collapsing.
