Residents of korowe on the kisumu- kericho road , rushed to the scene of an overturned tanker and scooped cooking oil yesterday morning. Nyando police boss said the lorry rolled over when it's driver lost control. Police arrived at the scene minutes after the crash and stopped locals from taking the oil and ensured that the truck has been towed to the police station. The truck driver and his assistant escaped unhurt. He urged motorists to observe traffic rules. The accident happened a day after another involving a sugarcane carrier , a matatu and a private car.
