Slow Ease on Lockdown In Counties.

With the extension of lockdown by further 21days by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenyans are already finding it hard to strictly observe the lockdown to the latter. Majority of Kenyans survive by hand to mouth. Government's little upkeep has been a waning hope. This makes it hard if not impossible to stock food and stay at home.
Counties are slowly easing on the lockdown. Cafes as well as entertainment joints are opening as long as you observe curfew. Wearing a mask and maintaining social distance as a precaution is observed by the weary few.
Mass testing in majorly affected counties should be conducted while isolation centers in counties conduct voluntary counseling and testing. Individuals who feels that they have been exposed can get tested. A case of a victim in Mombasa county, who died of Covid 19 after failure to get tested or poor diagnosis was heard. This is not among the 21death cases we are all aware of.
The sad reality is that the contagion will be here with us for a relatively longer period than we all hope for. Life will not stop, so wear a mask, keep social distance and get back to work.
