Tanzanian president John Pombe Maghufuli is taking the world's attention in bang. This comes after his strange take on COVID-19 approach and measures. Unlike what other countries are doing to fight the pandemic, the relaxed president is busy encouraging normalcy in his territory.

Corona virus pandemic began on December last year(2019) in China , at Wuhan town. The disease has caused deaths adversely worldwide and the cause is yet to be established by researchers and scientists worldwide. Corona virus is a respiratory illness that causes shortness and difficulty in breathing, frequent sneezing , fever and coughing. The World Health organization has taken it seriously due to the many deaths records in several countries in the world. Africa has recovered the lowest number of both infection and deaths compared to other continents and this is a shocker to many as they still struggling to know and understand why. 

Tanzanian, is a country in Africa situated in the East. The World Health organization has even threatened it's government to take serious judicial steps if it does not abide by the health precautions on the deadly disease. However, the president is encouraging his subjects to continue normal routine to boost it's economy. Unlike Kenya where masks wearing and proper hand sanitisation is a must, Tanzanians go about their daily routine even church gathering normally . The World Health organization says this poses threat to the citizens health but no one seems to pay attention.

Corona virus is  a contagious disease and deaths recorded everywhere is clear picture of the results of ignoring it. Therefore, safety and prevention calls for more stringent measures in fighting it obediently. Continue washing hands and wearing masks. Report to the those in charge any case with it's symptoms.
