Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria
Moses Kuria, Gatundu South Member of Parliament, in a new turn of events, has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of plotting to impeach his deputy William Ruto.
The controversial MP took to his Facebook page, coining a veiled message. However, it was clear that he was referencing Uhuru.
According to Kuria, the president has instructed Senator Irungu Kang’ata to initiate the process of impeaching the Senate’s deputy speaker Kithure Kindiki. This, according to him, is in preparation to finally remove DP Ruto from power.
“The Jubilee Party Owner Occupier has given express instruction to Senator Irungu Kang’ata to initiate the removal of Professor Kithure Kindiki. This is so as to pave way for the impeachment of William Ruto,”Kuria posted.
The policymaker further likened his struggles to those that the biblical Job underwent. However, Moses adds that despite the challenges they are experiencing, they will not give up. According to him, they serve a Living God who will never forsake them.
“Like Job, we refuse to give up on our Living God. We shall overcome God will not forsake the righteous to please the evil,” Kuria posted.
Divided family
This accusation comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta led a Senate Parliamentary group meeting at State House. During the sitting, the Jubilee senators removed Kipchumba Murkomen and Susan Kihika as the Senate majority leader and chief whip, respectively.
This move did not sit well with some legislators, including Kuria. According to them, this was an orchestrated move to eliminate DP Ruto allies from power.
Senators Kipchumba Murkomen and Susan Kihika address journalistsIn a retaliating move, Moses Kuria took to social media complaining about the changes. He even claimed on the 11th of May that the 2007 and 2011 elections may have been rigged.
Later on, Kimani Ngunjiri held a press conferenc e at Eldoret Town, claiming his life is in danger. He, however, contended that whatever happens to him, he will not stop supporting DP Ruto.
