The Chelsea coach has stated the reason why his team cannot compete in the Premier League this season.

Enzo Maresca has stated that Chelsea is not yet ready to compete for the Premier League title after their 4-3 victory over Tottenham.

The Italian coach has consistently dismissed suggestions that his team is among the contenders for the title, despite a strong start since he took over as manager.

However, following poor results from Arsenal, Man City, and Liverpool in their recent matches, the Blues have taken advantage and are now only 4 points behind the Premier League leaders.

After the victory against Tottenham, Maresca once again dismissed the suggestion that his team is competing for the Premier League.

“We still have a lot to improve on before we are ready to compete for the title, but right now we are not competing,” he added.
