The draw for the FIFA Club World Cup, which has undergone a restructuring, took place in Miami, USA, tonight.
Manchester City will begin their defense of this new title, facing off against the Moroccan champions, Wydad AC, in their first match.
City will also play against Juventus and Al Ain FC after they all qualified from Group G, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Round of 16.
After being invited to participate in the Club World Cup, Lionel Messi and Inter Miami will face the Egyptian champions, Al Ahly FC, as they are both in Group A.
The Brazilian team Palmeiras and the Portuguese team FC Porto are also in Messi’s group.
